Drs. Andy & Patty Champion, OD

Dr. Patty Champion is a graduate of Wilkes University with a degree in Biology and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia in 1994.

Dr. Andy Champion is a graduate of Allegheny College with a degree in Chemistry and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia in 1994.

Drs. Champion began practicing in Asheville in 1995. They opened Champion Eye Center in 1997 with locations in Asheville and Sylva. In 2006, the new office in South Asheville was opened to better service our patients in that area.

Drs. Champion have a son, Dylan, and enjoy swimming, biking and skiing.

They are members of the American Optometric Association, the NC State Optometric Society and the Mountain District Optometric Society.
